Mindful Yoga
Mondays 6:00 - 7:15 pm with Amanda
Wednesdays 11:30 am - 12:30 pm with Amanda
This Level 1 class is designed to teach mindfulness and body awareness in the Kripalu Yoga tradition with a flare of ashtanga. The practice will emphasize flexibility, strengthening, and endurance of the mind and body. Students are encouraged to have some experience with yoga before coming to this class. The class will involve an element of flow (_vinyasa_), moving from posture to posture intelligently. There is always at least 10 minutes of relaxation at the end of the physical postures (_asanas_) in the Monday evening class and 5 minutes in the Wednesday daytime class.
