Athletes and Active Individuals
Deep tissue massage is great for athletes who expose their muscles to daily, intense conditions. Regular massage can help in reducing the chance of injury with proper stretching and event preparation, and improve range of motion and flexibility. Massage therapy can be used as maintenance for the athlete or as an event, pre-event, intra-event, and post-event.
Pre-event: helps improve performance and decrease injury
Intra-event: is given in between events to help athletes recover and prepare them for the upcoming activity
Post-event: given after a competition or activity and aids in recovery
